1. The service
Stategram is a hosted state machine and decision-receipt service for AI agents and software systems. The service is provided as-is, with the availability and behavior described in our documentation and on our Security & Trust page.
2. Beta period
Stategram is currently offered free of charge during a public beta. During beta we may change features, limits, or behavior with reasonable notice. Beta users will receive at least 30 days' notice before billing turns on, and a discount on the first paid plan period as a thank-you.
3. Your account
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API keys, for all activity on your account, and for ensuring that the people you give access to are authorized to use the service on your behalf.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Stategram to:
- Violate any law or third-party right
- Send spam, malware, or denial-of-service traffic
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other customers' data
- Resell, white-label, or sublicense the service without our written consent
- Reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law
- Store regulated PHI under HIPAA or PCI cardholder data in evidence fields (these are not currently supported)
5. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. Our data handling is described in detail in the Privacy Policy and Security & Trust page.
6. Fees and billing
Pricing for paid plans is published at stategram.io/#pricing. During beta, the service is free. Paid plans will be billed in advance per the selected interval (monthly or annual). VAT will be added where required. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods. Enterprise terms may differ and are governed by a signed agreement.
7. Service levels
During beta we operate the service on a best-effort basis without a formal SLA. Once paid plans launch, Scale and Enterprise tiers will include a documented availability target with service credits. Enterprise customers may negotiate higher targets.
8. Termination
You can stop using Stategram and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms, that pose a security risk, or that fail to pay outstanding invoices, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, we provide a 30-day window to export your state machine definitions and receipts before deletion.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide Stategram with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is otherwise provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will detect every problematic action your agents attempt — Stategram is one layer of defense, not a replacement for code review, testing, or human oversight.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or €100, whichever is greater). Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law, including claims arising from data you submit to the service.
12. Changes
We may update these terms with at least 30 days' notice for material changes. If you don't agree, you can terminate your account before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Estonia, except that consumers may have additional rights under their local law that these terms do not override.
